Wow. The last few months of 2019 were... rough. A lot of travel, a lot of work, and a lot of just plain bullshit. The good news is, thankfully most of that seems to be over. Going forward, I have an awesome game plan for my writing and new books and some cool side projects.
A lot of the plans I have for 2020 I don't want to share just yet. The main reason is that me and deadlines aren't best friends. The second is that once I announce a deadline, I'll kill myself to meet it because I hate pushing back deadlines. But I do have some tentative dates I'll give out for some of my projects.
My first project of the year is going to remain a secret until I'm 100% sure I can get it going, but trust me, I have been working very hard on it for a very long time. This is, oddly enough, not a book project, but it is a book-ish project.
I also have some real book news! Sometime in the next few months the entire Prisons collection (Prison 917, Prison 456, Prison 268, and The Prisons) will be re-released with all new covers. As much as I love the old covers-- mostly because I shot them myself-- I think they need an update. I'm still working on designs for that, but I'm super excited about the re-release.
I also have a new book coming out. I'm leaving this date super up in the air because I have a lot on my plate and I don't want to promise anyone (including myself) a date just yet. I do have a date that I'm shooting for.
2020 is going to be a good year. I'm going to make it a good year. I have a lot on my plate, but its a lot of good stuff and a lot of fun stuff. I hope everyone also has a happy and fun 2020.
