It's been a little bit since The Prisons has come out. While I love Heather and the gang, and I'm so proud of what The Prisons became, I'm ready to move on to the next project. So, what is the next project?
Well, I am taking a bit of time to work on some personal stuff. I do have a 9-to-5 job, as well as personal projects I'm trying to work on. I'm still writing, but its being moved to the back burner for a few months.
That being said, I did just plan out my next series. I don't want to give too much detail, because I'm still early in the process, but it looks like its going to be a five book series with some of the coolest characters and craziest plot I've ever worked on. This story has been a long, long time in the making, and I'm so happy I get to dedicate more of my time to it.
I don't have a release date or a timeline in mind-- like I said, I'm still in the very early stages-- but I would like to release the first book this year. That is a very optimistic goal, and a lot would have to go right for that to work out the way I need it too, but fingers crossed. The first book is about 80% written, but has to go through some major edits first. This is the first time I've worked on a project so large (with the intention of publishing it), so I'm going to have to adjust the process I used for The Prisons.
Like I said, the story is going to go through some major changes (and I'm sure even more changes I haven't thought of yet), and I'll share more details about the story has it progresses. I am really excited to get this project moving. I'll be sure to keep you guys in the loop!
